UFOs!

Can we talk UFOs? No, not the aliens!👽 I mean those UnFinished Objects! I am determined to finish these before I start another major project! I did finish the gnome table runner (affiliate link) that I mentioned in my last post. It’s really cute! Pic is below. Cutting out the appliquès on my Cricut made it so much easier and quicker and the pieces are all accurate! But, I digress. I have about 5 or 6 projects that I need to finish. I always get stuck on how I want to quilt the sandwiches. Anyone else suffer from this inability to make a decision?! About 8 months ago, my fiancè bought me a single needle embroidery machine for my birthday (he’s a keeper!) and I want to try using that to quilt. So my goal this week is to do some practice pieces with some scrap fabric. If that works out well, I have a Christmas table runner that’s all ready to go.

That quilt that’s on the home page? Yeah, that one needs to get quilted and bound. I love that quilt. That one has been hanging around quite a while. I just couldn’t decide how to quilt it. I’m your classic overthinker which often paralyzes me from making a decision! 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m going to get it done this year! I was watching some of Pat Sloan’s videos (here’s her YouTube channel) and her “word of the year” is “do.” I’m going to DO it and just get these UFOs finished!
